Veteran South Bay emcee, I-L Twice brings us his latest project. He speaks on a lot of different concepts on this one, including personal stories, his views on the industry, while still displaying his wordplay and unique flow. The album features singles, “Shut it Down” and “Steve McQueen” as well as dope collaborations with Ziggy, Opski Chan & Matty Slims.

22 year old, San Jose-based emcee, Ziggy releases visuals for his latest track, “High Roller”. The track is the first leak off Ziggy’s collaborative project with San Jose producer, C-Note. Its produced by C-Note and Zero Luck, while the video is shot and directed by Amadeuz Christ. Ziggy linked with Bay Area blog, Thizzler.com for the release of the video.

On May 10th, San Jose’s Agenda Lounge will host one of the most accomplished and technically gifted Bay Area emcees, Locksmith. Locksmith burst onto the national scene in 2004, placing 2nd on the famous MTV Battles which aired during Carson-Daly era TRL on MTV. Shortly after, the hit “What Is It” introduced Locksmith and Left aka “The Frontline” to mainstream audiences. Their work with E-A-Ski continued for several years and they played an important role in Bay Area Rap history. Fast forward to today, Hyphy is dead, Locksmith has released several amazing solo projects from the “Iamlock EP” to the Ski-Beatz produced “Embedded” which dropped on DD172/BluRoc Records, to last year’s “Labyrinth” which featured the hits “Illuminate”, “My Character”, “Take Me Away” and “The Pit”. Following successful tours with Joe Budden, and a solid showing at this year SXSW, Locksmith has released a number of notable visuals off his upcoming album, “The Green Box”, including the MTV jams premiered, “Fuck Love”. He will be headlining on May 10th in Downtown San Jose at Agenda Lounge (399 S. 1st St), along with San Jose’s very own Rey Resurreccion, Memphis, Tennessee’s June, Oakland, California’s Young Gully, as well as a handful of the South Bay’s dopest talents opening up.
